In general, you won't need a Fast Pass to ride the Haunted Mansion. It is one of the fastest loading rides in the park. Even if the line is all the way out to the Keel Boat loading dock next door, get in it anyway! Still, I was awfully amused that the wait was 13 minutes...you don't think they did that on purpose, do you? Ha ha ha ha... in any event, here are some tips for getting on the ride faster (in Florida):

The cast members will tell you to fill in all available space. Inevitably, most of the guests will stand there single file. Walk up the side on the left or the right and you can pass these people. If they get angry, give them an innocent look and tell them the cast members told you to. Chances are they won't notice you anyway.

When you get inside the mansion, stand directly in front of the portrait until the door to the stretch room opens so you can be one of the first people into it. There are two, so if you're in the middle you can get in no matter which door opens.

Inside the stretch room, stand underneath the portrait of the girl in pink. The door to the ride opens from there.

Once the door opens, book down the hallway and get into your Doom Buggy ahead of all the people slowly meandering out of the stretch room. If you didn't manage to get out of the stretch room ahead of everyone else, stay to the left and hug the wall. The huge hallway filters down into a tiny single file line, and this is the easiest way to stay ahead of the crowd.
