Eden Ahbez Fantasy

The moon sang in Italian
O’er the Parisian sky
And glitter rained like stars
Kissing, burning, you and I...

The greatest thing

Love paints clouds on rooftop
That only shine after dark
Words create illusion, I fumble
To grasp mysteries of the heart

you’ll ever learn

The Green Fairy danced
On lips and sugar cubes
I took her wings, she let me fly,
Vain as Icarus, fell to you

is just to love

I fear the light of day,
The shattering of this dream
Stay with me in shadows
Don’t wake, don’t scream...

and be loved

Jealous lies, dark desires
Misunderstand my earnesty
Don’t hurt me, it won’t save me
For I am yours eternally

in return.
