Fear of Flying
I was warned of the dangers of your charms
That you would seduce me as midnight struck
I was told not to fall into your arms
That kissing you was pure bad luck...
Drink me with your lips
Kill me if you must
My heart hammer trips
Lie with me in dust
Forbidden fruit is always sweet and ripe
I rise to the challenge, draw forth my sword
Seduction is a battle and just my type
Even though a broken heart I can ill afford
Take my soul inside
Let me feel again
Capture all my pride
Catch me if you can
I’m easy to have, you’re easy to love
Crawl into my coffin, bring me back to life
Forgive my every sin, all of the above
I’ll end your suffering and drown your strife.
