When Moonbeams Fall
When moonbeams fall
Upon thy face
I fall upon my knees,
Dark angels call
With tortured grace
Their anguished, empty pleas...
They cannot touch
Thy silken hair
Nor kiss thy ripe, sweet lips,
To want so much
And never dare
To drink thy blood in sips...
In my embrace
You rest tonight
To me submit thy heart...
In time and space
Our love is right
We two shall never part.
