Pirate Cruel

July 14, 2001

I would I were a pirate cruel
Who sailed upon the sea
To pillage, crost the Spanish Main
And best, to plunder thee

Id steal thee sleeping from thy bed
My cutlass gainst thy throat
Gagged and bound make off with thee
And take thee to my boat

Thou wouldst be my tender slave
Succumbing to my wishes
Knowing if you disobeyed
Thou wouldst sleep with the fishes

My ship would sail to foreign ports
And thou be forced along
Eventually you'd love me dear
And sing my pirate song
